Building trust in the face of hate: international framework for peace education and its application in the Basque Country

This report provides an updated review of the main international milestones in peace education and examines how these frameworks are applied in the Basque Country and connected to the Basque curriculum. It brings together contributions from experts at the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) and UNESCO, as well as from local specialists in peace education and human rights. As a result, the publication integrates global approaches, international case studies, and local experiences, illustrating how education can help build more just, inclusive, and hate free societies.
